In Costa Rica, prepare for hot and humid summer days. The vibe is very casual; you don’t need to bring anything dressy or stylish. Nights are generally warm. However, you should bring along one sweatshirt or jacket to prepare for the occasional evening thunderstorm.
- Casual clothes (shorts, t-shirts, tank tops, casual sundresses for girls, etc.)

ECUADOR
Ecuadorians tend to be well-dressed and conservative. In Cuenca, the days generally go from cool to warm (65 degrees), there can be and the nights can be quite cool (45 degrees). Boys should bring long-sleeved and short-sleeved collared shirts, T-shirts, pants and jeans. Girls will also want some conservative clothes to choose from. Generally, women do not wear mini-skirts, shorts, or spaghetti straps in town. Don’t forget to pack sunscreen as Ecuador is located on the equator.
